Written comments go through AI anonymization that rewrites phrasing and strips identifying details. When multiple peers review the same person, their comments are merged so no single voice is recognizable. Reviewers' identities are never stored alongside their feedback.
What is bias normalization?
Some people rate everyone a 5, others never go above a 3. Our algorithm detects each reviewer's tendency and calibrates their scores so a 4 from a strict rater and a 4 from a lenient rater mean the same thing.
